Description

This course introduces the cultures of south Asian countries, especially of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and the Maldives, from historical and political views. The focus will be on the historical studies of people’s lives in south Asia. Geography, history, economy, politics, art forms, religions and cultures, and development and connections among those countries will be discussed.
